Des Plaines Swimming is a registered not-for-profit organization established in August 2006 to promote and operate aquatic programs within the Des Plaines Community in cooperation with other local organizations. DP Swimming has established such popular programs such as the Des Plaines River Racers Swim Team that is based at Maine West High School. The job of overseeing this organization is charged with those sitting on the Des Plaines Swimming Board of Directors. The Board is made up of volunteer members who oversee the policies and procedures in order for the club's goals and objectives to be carried out. We encourage anyone involved with Des Plaines Swimming to consider assisting us in our mission of providing quality aquatic programming in and around the Des Plaines and Park Ridge community.
The Des Plaines Swimming Board meets once a month at Maine West High School. Our meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of the month. Changes to that schedule will be updated on our website.
