Welcome to the Park Ridge Swim Club
The Park Ridge Swim Club II is an established program, which is operated and administered by Des Plaines Swimming, which also operates the Des Plaines River Racers Swim Team at Maine West High School. The cooperative venture will afford both teams better opportunities for training along with the flexibility to utilize multiple traning facilites, while also providing the possibility for additional program options.
The Park Ridge Swim Club will be coordinated by Coach Terry Majewski who is in his eighth year as coaching the Park Ridge Swim Club. Park Ridge Swim Club will assume the name Des Plaines River Racers during all meets and will be under the direction of Head Coach/Program Director Mike Tuntland who is in his third year as head coach of the Des PLaines River Racers Swim Team.
Together, both teams offer a combined total coaching years of experince between all coaches of well over forty years.
