Des Plaines Swimming is a registered not-for-profit organization established in August 2006 to promote and operate aquatic programs within the Des Plaines Community in cooperation with other local organizations. DP Swimming has established such popular programs such as the Des Plaines River Racers Swim Team that is based at Maine West High School.
Des Plaines Swimming operates from a volunteer executive board of directors that meets once a month to create and enforce policies and procedures that the programs will follow. We encourage anyone involved with Des Plaines Swimming to consider assisting us in our mission of providing quality aquatic programming in Des Plaines.
It is our volunteer members that keep our club alive and moving forward so that our community can benefit from having outstanding program opportunities.
The Des Plaines Swimming Board meets once a month at Maine West High School. Our meeting schedule is scheduled for the second Tuesday of the month. Changes to that schedule will be updated on this page as well as the home page.
